While at the Faculty, Morag Styles divided her time between research, teaching, supervision of doctoral students and co-ordinating the masters’ route, Critical Approaches to Children’s Literature. Her research interests being mainly within the field of the academic study of children’s literature. She also has many links with outside organizations relating to literature and art, including the British Library, Arts Council, Book Trust, UKLA, Poetry Society etc. She has organised two exhibitions at the Fitzwilliam Museum (1995 and 2000) and one at the British Museum (2009) as well as numerous international conferences, the most recent of which were The Power of Caribbean Poetry: Word and Sound (2012) and Poetry and Childhood, a collaboration between Faculty of Education and British Library (2009).
